New Madras Location, Pete McCabe at the Helm

Madras, OR – September 13, 2010 – South Valley Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the new branch location at the South Y Complex, 910 Hwy 97 S. Suite 204.

Pete McCabe, Vice President & Senior Commercial Loan Officer, and Janice Marshall-Branch Manager, will be responsible to deliver the South Valley promise of putting “Your Business First” to the Madras community.

Mr. McCabe is a graduate of Oregon State University.  Prior to banking he was the High School agricultural instructor in Enterprise, Oregon. Pete started his banking career through the management training program at US Bank and comes to South Valley with more than 26 years of experience in the banking industry. He served from 1994 through May of 2010 at Columbia State Bank, formerly Columbia River Bank, as their VP/Branch Manager and Commercial Loan Officer.

Mr. McCabe is currently a member of the Oregon Bankers Association’s Agriculture Banking Committee. McCabe formerly served on the local Jefferson County Fair Board, and also on the Oregon State Fair Board.  He is very active in Knights of Columbus, and serves as a board member on the Mt. View Hospital District Financial Board.
